At Tanagra, we celebrate the region’s rich cultural heritage and the contemporary creative voices carrying it forward. Through design, craftsmanship, materiality and storytelling, traditions are reinterpreted for today, creating a dialogue between the past and the present, while reflecting the distinctive identities of the Middle East.
In Qatar, Tanagra collaborates with Abdulrahman Al Muftah, whose design practice is rooted in Qatari heritage, craftsmanship and cultural storytelling. Inspired by traditional architecture, local materials and the visual language of the Gulf, Abdulrahman translates elements of Qatar’s identity into contemporary forms, creating work that bridges heritage and modernity while remaining deeply connected to a sense of place.
