Sol large tumbler and candle – scented with Rue des Archives wax, a fragrance created by Olivia Giacobetti exclusively for Bernardaud. When the candle is totally consumed, the large tumbler may be used to as a vase or pot holder. Burning time: up to 100 hours Here are tips for safely prolonging the life of your Bernardaud candle: - The first time you burn your candle, allow it to burn for at least one hour until the whole top is liquid with wax, then 2 or 3 hours on future uses. - Trim the wick regularly - by shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the porcelain. After blowing out your candle, re-center and straighten the wick. - Choose an area free from drafts and do not move your candle while it is lit to avoid uneven burning. - Never leave a lit candle unattended to avoid any fire risk. Always place your candle on a level, heat resistant, non-flammable surface away from fabric or drapes and out of children's reach.
Porcelain has been used for millennia, but it still detains properties and applications whose potential has never been fully explored.
