Meet the designer: Jonathan Adler

Designer Jonathan Adler has developed a passion for pottery into a worldrenowned name in the field of design. His namesake brand has a presence in over 1000 locations globally, and has become synonymous with modern American glamour.

From an early age, Adler has had a strong interest in pottery. This continued throughout his early adult life, until in 1994 he has the opportunity to sell his pots at Barney’s. Met with huge success, just 4 years later the doors to his first store open in Soho.
With a unique, luxury-focused design vision, Adler’s pieces combine glamour, chic but always takes the form of stand-out design elements that don’t take themselves too seriously. Apart from building a hugely successful empire in its own right, Jonathan Adler has also collaborated with an array of partners.
